A gritty run with flashes of speed. Seventeen laps and an 8.663 best earned 4 points (21 total), showing improved stability after Singapore.

Round 6: Italy

Round 6: Italy

Gatsby Cup – Round 6: Monza Recap
Fast, flowing, and unforgiving—Monza’s 4-minute sprint was a flat-out fight that shuffled both class battles once again. Slipstream duels and razor-thin margins defined the Temple of Speed, as every lap felt like a knockout punch in the championship race. Close matches, but Gatsby pulled off a fantastic 1-2

GTD PRO

#18 Gatsby Automotive MK1 WS.3, Result: 1st in GTD PRO
A commanding rebound after Spa. Gatsby #18 dominated the PRO field with a blistering 6.060 best lap and 30 tours of Monza—comfortably the most in class. The win restores them as a front-runner, vaulting to 316 points and retaking the GTD PRO lead.

#78 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT3, Result: 2nd in GTD PRO
Sharp and composed. Mercedes #78 delivered 29 laps with a strong 6.547 lap time, proving they’re still a constant threat. The silver car takes 37 points and remains only four behind Gatsby #18 in the standings, keeping the fight tighter than ever.

#38 Aston Martin Vantage GT3, Result: 3rd in GTD PRO
A steady outing after the highs of Spa. Aston #38 managed 28 laps, quick enough for a 6.555 best lap, and bagged 34 points. They now sit just 12 points off the class lead—firmly in striking distance as the title fight condenses.

#68 Ford Mustang GT3 Mod, Result: 4th in GTD PRO
A mixed session for Ford. Quick enough to show promise (6.910) but lacking the consistency to hang with the front three, Mustang #68 could only complete 26 laps. A fourth place and 30 points keep them mid-pack with little room for error going forward.

#98 Porsche 911 GT3 R, Result: 5th in GTD PRO
Their streak of quiet podiums ended in Italy. Porsche #98 struggled with speed (7.051) and, despite 26 laps, fell to the back of PRO with just 28 points. Now at 285 overall, they remain close, but momentum is slipping in a field this tight.

GTM AM

#14 Gatsby Automotive MK1 WS.3, Result: 1st in GTM AM
A bounce-back drive of real grit. Gatsby #14 hit a strong 6.694 best lap, completed 29 laps, and seized the maximum 39 points. It’s the result they needed to rejoin the Am title hunt after Spa heartbreak.

#74 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT3, Result: 2nd in GTM AM
Mercedes #74 again proved their consistency. 27 laps and an efficient 7.217 time earned them 35 points, keeping their Am championship momentum steady. They’ve been the reliable foil to Gatsby and Aston all year.

#34 Aston Martin Vantage GT3, Result: 3rd in GTM AM
Not their cleanest drive, but Aston #34 did enough to stay in the fight. With 26 laps and a 6.654 best, they took 32 points. Still the class benchmark, though their once-comfortable lead has thinned to a handful of points.

#94 Porsche 911 GT3 R, Result: 4th in GTM AM
Flashes of speed (6.742) weren’t enough. With only 21 laps logged, Porsche #94 could salvage 25 points—falling behind the other Am title contenders. They remain in the conversation, but the deficit is widening.

#64 Ford Mustang GT3 R, Result: 5th in GTM AM
Struggles continued in Italy. Ford #64 fought hard but with only 19 laps and a 7.875 best time, their 21-point haul leaves them at the back of Am. At this stage, they’ve shifted to damage limitation rather than title contention.

🏁 Championship Notes After Round 6:

  • GTD PRO Leader: Gatsby #18 (316 pts)

  • GTM AM Leader: Aston Martin #34 (305 pts)

  • Constructors Leader: Aston Martin (609 pts)

Round 5: Belgium

Round 5: Belgium

Gatsby Cup – Round 5: Spa Francorchamps Recap
Short, sharp, and brutally punishing—Spa’s 4-minute sprint turned championship momentum on its head. Class-based scoring returned, and nearly every title fight tightened as reliability, precision, and pace collided in the Ardennes forest.

GTD PRO

#38 Aston Martin Vantage GT3, Result: 1st in GTD PRO
A statement recovery drive after a quiet Laguna. Fastest lap in class (6.862) and the only GTD PRO to reach 21 laps, Aston #38’s Spa performance puts them right back in the championship hunt—just 6 points off the lead in 3rd.

#98 Porsche 911 GT3 R, Result: 2nd in GTD PRO
Consistency continues to be their weapon. Though their best time (9.740) was off the pace, Porsche #98 ran a smooth race to take second, their fourth consecutive top 3 finish. Now sitting at 257 points, they’ve joined the top-tier title fight in a closer than ever GTD Pro title.

#18 Gatsby Automotive MK1 WS.3, Result: 3rd in GTD PRO
The slowest race of the season for Gatsby #18—but not a disaster. 19 laps, 8.692 best lap, and a third-place finish keeps them steady at 276 points, and regaining the GTD PRO lead by a single point.

#78 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT3, Result: 4th in GTD PRO
A rough day in Belgium. #78 lacked pace (9.306) and couldn't clear more than 14 laps. The result drops them to 2nd in GTD PRO, after leading post-Laguna.

#68 Ford Mustang GT3 Mod, Result: 5th in GTD PRO
The Mustang struggled all session, unable to extract pace (9.821) or consistency. Just 14 laps and 2 points—easily their weakest showing this season. Now firmly outside the GTD title fight. Ford will switch focus to their new entry for 2026

GTM AM

#94 Porsche 911 GT3 R, Result: 1st in GTM AM
Finally a breakthrough. Porsche #94 nailed the race with 21 laps and a clean 8.591 best time— marking their first win of the season and lifting them to 217 points, right back in the GTM AM conversation.

#74 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT3, Result: 2nd in GTM AM
Another strong, quiet result for #74. They matched the class lap total (21) and now sit tied for second in GTM AM at 227 points. They've been one of the most consistent teams all season.

#64 Ford Mustang GT3 R, Result: 3rd in GTM AM
A bounce-back continues for Ford #64. 17 laps and a smooth run gave them solid points, moving them to 180 total. Not a title contender yet—but no longer at the back.

#34 Aston Martin Vantage GT3, Result: 4th in GTM AM
A tough outing for the class leader. Despite solid pace (8.707), they only completed 15 laps and lost crucial points. They still lead the GTM AM title with 273 points, but the gap has vanished.

#14 Gatsby Automotive MK1 WS.3, Result: 5th in GTM AM
A disaster. Just 9 laps and major setbacks cost Gatsby #14 big. Once the class leader, they now sit tied with Mercedes #74 at 227 points, both trailing Aston #34 by 46 points.

🏁 Championship Notes After Round 5:

GTD PRO Leader: Gatsby #18 (276 pts)
GTM AM Leader: Aston Martin #34 (273 pts) Constructors Leader: Aston Martin (543 pts)

Next up: Italy. A full-length format returns, and with just 5 rounds remaining, the championship fights in both classes—and constructors—have never been closer. Every point now feels like a title decider.

Round 1: Japan

Round 1: Japan

Despite dominating pre-season testing, Gatsby Automotive couldn’t convert raw pace into double-class wins. In GTD Pro, it was Mercedes- Benz #78 that delivered the cleanest run—22 laps and a best time of 9.895s—to take the early lead with 32 points. Gatsby’s #18 followed closely with 29 points, clocking the fastest lap of the event (8.763s) but missing out by a lap.

In GTM Am, Aston Martin #34 shocked the field with a flawless 22-lap effort and 32 points, edging out Gatsby’s #14, which also impressed with 30 points and a strong 8.990s best lap.

Together, Gatsby’s Pro and Am entries earned 59 points, giving them the lead in the Constructors' Championship, just two points clear of Aston Martin heading into Monaco for Round 2, where grid order will now be determined by class standings

Round 2: Monaco

Round 2: Monaco

The streets of Monte Carlo delivered drama in Round 2, as the Gatsby Automotive entries reminded everyone of their form from testing, locking out wins in GTD Pro and GTM Am. Gatsby #18 blazed around the Principality with a commanding 21-laps to score the win and become level on points with the #78 Mercedes in the GTD Pro championship. Meanwhile, Gatsby #14 won in class with 19 laps, and stole the GTM Am championship lead from Aston Martin.

Mercedes-Benz #74 kept the pressure on with a solid performance, finishing just 3 laps down and scoring its first podium of the season. Aston Martin’s #38 and #34 both ran competitive races, both setting purple laps, but were out run on the tight streets, leaving them trailing Gatsby and Mercedes’ more consistent paces.

Ford continued to punch above expectations with both entries earning solid points, while Porsche’s Monaco was a nightmare. Both the #98 and #94 entries struggled for lap times, and #98’s race was further compromised by mid-race contact that tore off its rear bumper. The team is no doubt eager to return to a longer, more flowing circuit—like Le Mans, where they claimed glory last season.

The Gatsby Cup heads to La Sarthe next, where the teams will compete in 3- 8 Minute Sessions to see which car is fastest over a total 24 Minutes.

Round 3: Le Mans

Round 3: Le Mans

Round 3 of The Gatsby Cup brought the grid to Le Mans for 24 minutes of endurance, split into three 8-minute sessions. Sessions 1 & 3 in day time, but Session 2 under the cover of darkness. With points awarded across all 10 cars regardless of class—this unique round had the potential to tilt the balance in all three championships; and Aston Martin took full advantage.

#34 Aston Martin, a GTM AM entry, delivered an impeccable performance logging 131 laps and topping the overall classification. The result awarded them 156 points—a massive boost that now sees them leading the GTM AM championship. Teammate #38 AM, in GTD PRO, was just one lap behind and earning the team 306 points giving Aston Martin the Constructors Championship. The #38 is now level in the GTD PRO standings with Gatsby Automotive #18.

Porsche #98, rebounding from a chaotic Monaco, finished third overall and surged back into GTD PRO contention. It ran a very consistent 3 stints to come home neck and neck with the #38 Aston Martin. The podium finish sees the #98 now not last in the GTD PRO Championship.

Gatsby #18 put in another aggressive showing, setting the fastest lap of the event (7.410), but settled for 4th overall after a rough first and second sessions. However in the final session #18 found more consistency with a less aggressive approach, and came back to finish 4th overall.

The Mercedes #78 finished close behind the #18, running 3 more consistent
sessions, the Mercedes has been down on pace compared to last season. The last of the GTD PRO runners was the #68 Ford, which was very fast down the Mulsanne Straight, but struggled to keep the pace in the corners.

The next of the GTM AM cars was the #74 Mercedes, which managed to put in faster lap times than its GTD Pro teammate. Followed closely by the #94 Porsche who also put in a faster lap time to its GTD Pro teammate.

Gatsby #14—the GTM AM leader after Monaco—struggled at Le Mans. Issues in Session 2 and a shorter final stint saw them drop to 9th overall, scoring just 96 points and relinquishing the AM class lead to Aston #34.

At the very back was the #64 Ford which faced reliability issues. At the end of Session Two, the #64 suffered a front left rim failure. This issue became terminal at the beginning of Session 3, and the team had to retire the car after only 70 laps completed. Ford left Le Mans with only 206 points.

With Le Mans’ double-points shake-up behind us, the championship heads to Shane’s Birthday Weekend round—where precision, power, and pace could all play a role in shaping the next chapter of the season.

Round 4: Monterey

Round 4: Laguna Seca

The Gatsby Cup returned to its class-based scoring format for Round 4 at Laguna Seca. After the combined chaos of Le Mans, this short, intense 6-minute sprint put consistency and traffic management to the test. Here's how each of the 10 contenders fared—and where they now stand after four rounds of racing:

GTD PRO

#78 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT3, Result: 1st in GTD PRO
The Mercedes-AMG finally lived up to its potential. A commanding 50-lap drive at Laguna gives them their first class win since Suzuka and pushes them back into the GTD PRO championship lead with 257 points. Momentum is back on their side.

#18 Gatsby Automotive MK1 WS.3, Result: 2nd in GTD PRO
Still the outright fastest car on track—clocking a 5.945s best lap—but traffic and stint management held them to second. That’s now four straight podiums, but only one win (Monaco). They sit just six points behind Mercedes #78, firmly in the GTD title hunt.

#98 Porsche 911 GT3 R, Result: 3rd in GTD PRO
After a slow start to the season, Porsche #98 is now on a three-race points streak, with a Le Mans podium and a solid drive at Laguna. They’re climbing the GTD table quickly and now sit at 229 points, just behind Aston #38.

#68 Ford Mustang GT3 Mod, Result: 4th in GTD PRO
Ford continues to quietly rack up points, matching their Le Mans lap count here at Laguna. They’ve now scored in every round and sit 5th in the GTD PRO standings with 214 points, an impressive showing from a car many wrote off in preseason.

#38 Aston Martin Vantage GT3. Result: 5th in GTD PRO
After winning the Le Mans session outright, this was a tough return to class format. Just 37 laps and 2 points puts them in a vulnerable spot. They drop to 3rd in the GTD standings with 239 points, needing a bounce-back at Spa.

GTM AM

#14 Gatsby Automotive MK1 WS.2, Result: 1st in GTM AM
The most complete performance of the round. Fastest in class, most laps completed, and a vital class win that pushes them back into the GTM AM championship lead with 216 points. After struggling at Le Mans, this was exactly what Gatsby needed.

#34 Aston Martin Vantage GT3, Result: 2nd in GTM AM
The championship leader coming into Laguna, #34 didn’t put a wheel wrong—just wasn’t quite fast enough to hold Gatsby #14 back this time. They now sit just 2 points behind in the GTM AM title fight, with 214 points.

#64 Ford Mustang GT3 R, Result: 3rd in GTM AM
After a mechanical DNF at Le Mans, Ford #64 returned with a much-needed bounce. Matching #68 in lap count, they pick up 6 points and move to 157 total, showing real fight in the midfield of GTM AM.

#74 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT3, Result: 4th in GTM AM
Not quite able to replicate their Suzuka or Monaco consistency, but the #74 keeps banking steady points. They’re at 198 total, and while not leading, remain a strong podium threat each weekend.

#94 Porsche 911 GT3 R, Result: 5th in GTM AM
It’s been a difficult season for #94. Despite matching the lap times of some GTD runners, they’re struggling to string together clean sessions. Four rounds in, they’re last in GTM AM with 186 points, and need a breakthrough result soon.

🏁 Championship Notes After Round 4:

GTD PRO Leader: Mercedes #78 (257 pts)
GTM AM Leader: Gatsby #14 (216 pts)
Constructors Leader: Aston Martin (493 pts)
