Alpine A110

A French sports car legend, best known for its success in rallying during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Lightweight, rear-engined, and beautifully balanced, the A110 combined elegant design with competitive spirit. Its greatest triumph came in 1973, when it helped Alpine secure the first-ever World Rally Championship for manufacturers, cementing its place in motorsport history.

Tamiya recreated the Alpine A110 with a detailed polycarbonate body mounted on the M-06 chassis, a rear-wheel drive platform designed to replicate the handling feel of classic FR and RR cars. Compact, tunable, and engaging to drive, the M-06 offers a lively character that pairs perfectly with the rear-engined proportions of the A110. The result is a model that blends nostalgic styling with modern RC performance.

This build is finished in dark green with gloss black accents, giving the A110 a more aggressive and custom look compared to its traditional blue rally colors. The deep green paint highlights the car’s smooth curves, while the gloss black touches add contrast and refinement. Combined with the M-06 chassis, it’s a striking take on Alpine’s most iconic sports car, blending heritage with individuality.
