Mercedes-AMG GT3

Debuted in 2015 as the brand’s factory-built customer race car for GT3 competition. Based on the AMG GT road car, it featured a naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V8, a wide aero package, and aggressive styling optimized for endurance racing. Competing in series around the world, the GT3 quickly established itself as one of the most successful modern Mercedes race cars, recognized for both its performance and its striking “Green Hell Magno” color scheme.

This RC version pairs Tamiya’s detailed AMG GT3 body shell with the MST FXX chassis, chosen for its realistic layout. Unlike conventional RC touring chassis, the FXX mounts the motor at the front and delivers power to the rear axle through a driveshaft, closely mirroring the configuration of the real Mercedes-AMG GT. This setup provides authentic driving dynamics, making the model not just accurate in appearance but also in handling character.

The body is finished in PS-17 Metallic Green, complemented by a full LED lighting system front and rear for added realism. Underneath, a Traxxas brushless motor delivers smooth, powerful performance through the FXX drivetrain, making the car both fast and visually striking. The combination of detailed bodywork, realistic chassis design, and modern electronics creates a faithful RC representation of Mercedes’ GT3 racer.
