The 356 Cup Rules 1.0
Rules & Regulations
1. Race Format
Each round is a 4-minute endurance race.
The objective is to see how many laps each driver can complete in the allotted time.
Races are mainly run between Shane and Tiara in their nearly identical Golden Wolf Racing Porsche 356 C slot cars, but anyone gifted one of Shane’s creations is eligible to compete in the series.
2. Cars & Equipment
All drivers will compete in Golden Wolf Racing Porsche 356 C slot cars.
Cars are nearly identical to ensure fair competition.
Standard maintenance and setup checks may be performed prior to each round.
3. Driver Regulations
Each driver (Shane and Tiara) must complete the entire 4-minute race without substitution.
No external assistance may be provided during the race.
Focus, consistency, and precision are the keys to success.
4. Pit Lane & Off-Track Rule
If a car goes off track, it must be re-entered into the race through the pit lane.
The lap during which the off-track occurred will not be counted.
Marshals (self or agreed third party) must ensure fair pit re-entry.
5. Points & Scoring
Unlike the main Gatsby Cup, the 356 Cup is scored purely by laps completed.
At the end of each 4-minute race:
The driver with the highest number of completed laps is declared the winner.
Ties are broken by the driver who achieved their final lap first (time-based).
6. Driver Morals & Sportsmanship
As in The Gatsby Cup, the spirit of competition comes first:
Respect the Race – No intentional off-tracks, blocking, or manipulation of re-entry.
Respect Each Other – Friendly rivalry, but always fair play.
Integrity Matters – Both drivers are responsible for clean driving and self-policing when needed.
7. Championship Format
The 356 Cup is a support series alongside The Gatsby Cup.
Multiple rounds will be held across the Gatsby Cup Season, with a running tally of laps and wins between Shane and Tiara.
An overall 356 Cup Champion will be declared based on race wins, if Shane and Tiara are tied a winner will be declared by who ever completed the most laps between them.
