Introduced in 2013, was Ferrari’s first hybrid hypercar, blending a naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12 with an F1-inspired KERS electric system to produce over 950 horsepower. As the technological flagship of the brand, it showcased Ferrari’s cutting-edge aerodynamics, lightweight materials, and race-derived engineering. Its striking design and limited production run made it an instant classic among hypercars.

Tamiya brought the LaFerrari to 1/10 scale with a finely detailed polycarbonate body paired to the TT-02 chassis. While the TT-02 is normally configured as a 4WD platform, this build has been converted to rear-wheel drive, echoing the driving dynamics of Ferrari’s road cars and giving the model a more authentic handling feel. The TT-02’s simplicity and upgrade potential make it an adaptable base for custom configurations like this one.

The body is finished in PS-59 Dark Metallic Blue, a deep, lustrous color that sets it apart from the traditional Ferrari red. The metallic sheen accentuates the flowing curves and futuristic lines of the LaFerrari, while the RWD chassis configuration adds a unique twist to its performance character. Together, they create a distinctive 1/10 scale interpretation of Ferrari’s most advanced hypercar.
