Porsche 911 2.7 RS Tuthill
One of the most iconic air-cooled 911s, celebrated for its lightweight construction, ducktail spoiler, and motorsport pedigree. By the mid-1970s, the 2.7 RS had become a favorite platform for competition, carrying Porsche’s rallying spirit onto gravel and snow stages. Its balance of classic styling and performance made it a natural choice for enthusiasts and competitors alike.
This model sits on a lifted Tamiya TT-02 chassis with a short wheelbase conversion, giving it the correct proportions and the ground clearance needed for rally surfaces. The rally modifications are directly inspired by Tuthill Porsche, the famed builder of off-road and rally-prepared 911s. With its raised stance and durable TT-02 underpinnings, the car is engineered to perform on snow and loose terrain while maintaining the character of a classic 911.
The body is finished in Pearl White Metallic, accented by a Fabri Cherry-inspired livery and #14 rondels. The combination of custom paintwork, rally styling, and purposeful chassis setup creates a striking and functional tribute to both the 2.7 RS and the Tuthill-prepared rally cars. Built specifically for snow running, this 911 blends scale detail with authentic rally spirit, making it both a showcase piece and a capable RC rally machine.
