Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR Road Coupe

Born directly from the FIA GT1 racing program of the late 1990s. Built in extremely limited numbers to satisfy homologation rules, it took the championship-winning CLK GTR race car and transformed it into one of the most extreme road cars ever offered. With its wide stance, mid-mounted V12 engine, and dramatic aerodynamics, the CLK GTR Coupe remains a symbol of Mercedes-AMG’s dominance in the GT1 era.

Tamiya recreated the CLK GTR in 1/10 scale with a highly detailed polycarbonate shell, pairing it with the TT-01 chassis. The TT-01 platform is known for its durability and straightforward shaft-driven 4WD layout, making it an accessible yet reliable base for scale touring car bodies. Together, the strong chassis and sculpted body capture the balance between racing technology and road-going design that defined the original car.

This build is finished in PS-17 Metallic Green, giving the wide-bodied CLK GTR a striking and unique appearance. The deep metallic tone emphasizes the flowing lines and aggressive aero of the coupe while setting it apart from the traditional silver racing versions. Mounted on the TT-01, it offers a distinctive blend of endurance-racing heritage, road car rarity, and Tamiya craftsmanship.
