The Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA

A touring car legend in the 1960s, combining lightened construction, flared bodywork, and a lively twin-cam engine. Its agility and speed brought Alfa Romeo multiple European Touring Car Championship victories, making the GTA one of the most iconic small-bore racing saloons of its era.

Tamiya recreated the GTA with a finely detailed polycarbonate shell mounted on the M-06R chassis, a special edition of the rear-wheel drive M-06 platform. The “R” specification included upgraded suspension parts and distinctive red anodized aluminum components, adding both strength and visual flair. This combination gave the chassis a unique presence on display while enhancing its performance on the track.

Finished in a bold solid red body color, the model captures the classic curves and purposeful stance of the Giulia GTA. The deep red shell contrasts against the metallic highlights of the red anodized M-06R chassis beneath, blending Italian racing heritage with Tamiya’s refined engineering. Together, they create a striking tribute to Alfa Romeo’s most celebrated touring car.
