Audi A4 Quattro Touring

Campaigned in the late 1990s and early 2000s during Audi’s successful run in touring car racing. With its high-revving engines, wide stance, and the grip of quattro all-wheel drive, the A4 became a proven force in series like the BTCC and STW. Its aggressive yet understated styling made it a natural fit for both the racetrack and Tamiya’s RC touring car lineup.

This model is built on the Tamiya TT-01 chassis, a durable shaft-driven 4WD platform well-suited for on-road performance. Known for its simple construction and reliable handling, the TT-01 is an enduring favorite among RC enthusiasts. In this case, the chassis has been upgraded with a brushless motor system, giving the A4 a boost in both speed and efficiency while retaining the dependable balance of the original design.

The body is finished in PS-16 blue, presented without livery to emphasize the clean lines and muscular arches of the A4 touring shell. The metallic blue highlights the car’s shape, giving it a sleek yet purposeful look that stands out without sponsor graphics. Paired with the TT-01’s brushless 4WD performance, it’s a modern, minimalist take on Audi’s championship-winning touring car heritage.
