Lightning McLaren

This a creative tribute to Pixar’s Cars icon Lightning McQueen, reimagined as a modern GT3 racer. Using the sleek lines of the Bittydesign Seven20 body, the project blends McQueen’s bright personality with the aggressive proportions of a contemporary endurance machine. The car carries a full Rusteze livery, tying it back to its animated roots while giving it a fresh motorsport twist.

Mounted on an MST TCR chassis, the build is configured in a mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout for authentic GT handling. Power comes from a brushless motor, ensuring quick acceleration and smooth performance that matches the spirit of its on-track inspiration. The chassis provides a solid, competitive foundation, combining scale realism with modern RC engineering.

The body is finished in a bold red paint scheme, complete with custom stock car–style spoiler in place of the GT3 wing, further reinforcing the Lightning McQueen theme. Rolling on red and yellow MST rims, the build captures the playful energy of the Pixar character while presenting it in a sleek, race-ready package. The result is a unique and eye-catching RC creation that merges cinematic fun with high-performance design.
