Range Rover Classic

The Range Rover Classic, introduced in 1970, was the original luxury 4x4, combining refined design with true off-road capability. Its timeless lines, upright stance, and unmatched versatility made it a staple for explorers and enthusiasts alike. Decades on, the Classic remains one of the most iconic SUVs ever produced, celebrated for defining the blueprint of the modern luxury SUV.

This 1/10 scale recreation uses a Carisma RC Range Rover Classic body, finished in metallic green with a black roof, mounted to a modified RC4WD Trailfinder chassis. A custom CAD-designed roll cage and frame secure the body while enhancing strength and realism. The Trailfinder’s 2-speed gearbox allows for both low-range crawling and higher-speed trail driving, while Spektrum brushless power and metal-geared servos provide smooth and reliable performance across terrain.

Inside, the model features a CAD-designed custom interior in tan, complete with scale seating and a detailed cabin that includes Gatsby and Shane as passengers. The exterior is finished with classic three-spoke Range Rover rims, giving the truck an authentic period-correct look. A custom rear hatch opens to reveal a functional storage compartment for secondary batteries, blending realism with practicality. Altogether, it’s a detailed, functional, and character-filled tribute to the legendary Range Rover Classic.
