The Porsche 911 GT3 Touring (992.1)

The purest form of Porsche’s track-bred sports car, pairing the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six with a manual gearbox and a clean, wingless profile. Inspired by Pixar’s beloved character Sally Carrera from Cars, Porsche partnered with Pixar to create a real-life “Sally Special” in 2022, finished in a one-off blue shade and auctioned for charity. The car celebrated both Porsche heritage and a modern cultural icon.

This RC interpretation uses an MST TCR chassis, configured in a rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout to replicate the dynamics of the real 911. A brushless motor powers the drivetrain, giving the model smooth, responsive performance. The chassis provides a balance of scale realism and driving authenticity, making it a fitting foundation for this special project.

The body is painted in PS-49 Blue Aluminum, capturing the shimmering effect of the real “Sally Special,” and detailed with custom-cut stickers to recreate Sally’s face and eyes from Pixar’s design. It even wears the same license plate from the movie, completing the character tribute. Riding on gold and silver MST rims, this build merges Pixar charm with Porsche engineering, resulting in a one-of-a-kind RC model that brings Sally Carrera to life.
