Classics Round 15: 00s Chevy Nascar

Frosted Flakes vs. DuPont

The second story of the night began with NASCAR thunder.

Shane climbed into the iconic rainbow-striped #24 DuPont Chevy SS, while Tiara strapped into the bold #5 Frosted Flakes machine with a grin that said she already felt at home. The stock cars were loud, heavy, violent — and Tiara thrived in the chaos.

As soon as the race began, she hammered the throttle with zero hesitation. The Frosted Flakes Chevy surged forward like it had something to prove, and within minutes she had built a real, impressive lead. The rear end twitched under braking, the front washed wide under load, but she managed it with flair. Shane, meanwhile, spent the first half of the race coaxing the DuPont car into cooperation, waiting for the tires to come alive.

And then they did.

By the halfway mark, his lines tightened. The gap began shrinking. Slowly at first, then rapidly. Tiara could feel it — could hear it — and she made the one mistake you never make in a stock car:
She looked backward instead of forward.

Into Turn 1, she hesitated, glanced in the mirror, and braked a fraction too late. The rear stepped out, the car snapped sideways, and in that single moment the entire race shifted hands. Shane slipped past without a word, without celebration — just the steady, focused look of a driver who knew the job wasn’t done.

He would go on to win by 2 laps, setting a clean 7.798 best.
Tiara, defiant even in defeat, fired back with a 7.962 — proof she had the pace, even if the moment got her.
